Duties: The Buyer II assists Purchasing Manager in coordinating activities involved with procuring goods and services and administrative work associated with the procurement activities of the Purchasing Department. Prepare bid specifications and related documents for formal solicitations as required by State and City Government Code. Stay abreast of state and federal legislation that impacts procurement laws.
