The RN is responsible for direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care and identifying outcomes for patients undergoing invasive procedures in IR, to include IR procedures conducted in CT, US, OR 11 Hybrid, and additional areas based on need, as well as observing patients with pacemakers/AICDs undergoing an MRI scan, protecting the patient from injury caused by chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources.
